Just when you thought they couldn't do anything new with the classic boat shoe design, i found these. Have always preferred a larger sole, but nothing out there really fit the bill. Figured at the discounted price off retail available from Amazon, would give it a shot and am very pleased. To the extent that would probably purchase in the other available colors if they were in stock in my size at a similar price. This color comes in low nap quality suede. Bought to take on vacation where get togethers called for "smart casual", where shorts acceptable with collared shirt. These worked perfectly. The great thing is that they are just as at home with a pair of jeans or shorts and a Tshirt. Dress them up or down. In terms of size, they run a little small. I am a perfect 9EE who purchases 9.5 when wide widths aren't available. This usually results in fit that is a little long,but accomodates my wider foot. I purchased these in 9.5 and the length is perfect, the leather...
