I have foot issues (big toe arthritis and wear orthotics) that require a rocker sole to manage the pain for my big toe bone spur. I am frequently experimenting with various rocker sole shoes, but none of the other brands (clarks, sketcher, etc) completely eliminate the pain: these shoes do.
The other bonus is they are very breathable since the inner liner is simply a thin sheet of goretex adhered to the leather upper , so they are not hot, and they are waterproof, great for the nasty winter weather.
The stability of these rocker soles takes a little getting used to, but actually are so soft they are a pleasure to wear. Kinda like standing on soft sand even with my rigid orthotics. It took me a day or two of wear to get used to the MBT design, but after that I was hooked especially since they eliminated my chronic foot pain.
